David Cheung -
Co-owner and Head
David was born in China and moved to the
United States in 1978. He worked as a chef in Hong Kong and brings
a unique but genuine style of Chinese cooking to the Gold Coin.
David and his wife Susan have three children, Dora, Anna and
Conrad Kung - Co-owner and Maître d'
Conrad was born in China and lived
there until he was 13 years old. He then lived in Hong Kong for
two years and moved to the U.S. when he was 15. He came to attend
school and began working in his Uncle's restaurant. He has been
working in the restaurant industry ever since. Conrad and his wife
Kelly have two daughters, Connie and Chanel.
Jenny Kung - Hostess
was born in China and moved to the U.S. in 1984. She has been
working at the Gold Coin since it opened in 1987. Jenny is married
to Andy Kung who owns Andy's Sports Bar on New Scotland Avenue in
Michael Caruso - Waiter/Bartender
Michael has been working at the Gold
Coin since 1997.
